One of the most unique parts of my mentoring style is that I don’t always rush to give answers. Instead, I pause, sit with my intuition — or what I like to call my source connection — and allow responses to emerge from a deeper place within.
When I mentor from this space, I see students make incredible leaps forward. It’s as if the answers are not just “given” to them, but uncovered together.
The struggles they’ve been wrestling with start to peel away, their curiosity grows, and suddenly those powerful Aha! moments appear.
From there, their playing transforms, and they begin to experience real freedom in their music.
★“You cannot teach a man anything. You can only help him discover it within himself.” — Galileo Galilei
This quote perfectly captures my approach.
Yesterday, for example, I had a harp mentoring session with one of my adult students. At the start, her playing felt disconnected and choppy. But by the end of our two-hour session, something had shifted. Her music was flowing, full of feeling and natural expression. It wasn’t just the sound that changed — it was her. The look on her face said it all: she had found a deeper connection to her music, and with it, a newfound confidence.
This is the magic I love to witness — and the very same approach we share in the Confidence Unleashed FREE 3-Day Challenge.
You’ll learn from top-class mentors and performers who will guide you toward unlocking your own musical confidence.
